3 March 2016 Hatching pod, or a breeding pod
This is the very place where the cups with burrowed snails are placed. We initially used plastic boxes for the purpose, currently we are using an independent rack lined with a mesh. It is important to protect the hatching pod such that the snails may not escape. Once the snail lays eggs, it will get out of the soil and move on. If the hatching pod is protected against escaping snails, it will not be necessary to peel them off the walls of the room.
