13 June 2016 Why do we need pastures?
Pastures, belt-makers, the names are many.
First and foremost, they are a necessary element of equipment of every farming pen. The snails need them, virtually require them, but why?
They provide shelter from sun and wind (as shown in the photo) during the day.
In the evening, they are used for feedstock. The feedstock is poured directly into the pastures and the next day we always check the amount of feedstock consumed. Thus we know if the appropriate amount of feedstock is provided – if all the feedstock is consumed – pour more, and if there is a lot left – the amount of feedstock should be limited.
